The Kenomitian Chronicles I – The Mourner, The Hunter, and The Watcher by H. A. Matos is based on a world that in itself requires special commendation. This, by the way, is described in great detail in the book The Kenomitian Compendium. 2022 Edition. It is your go-to guide when reading the Kenomitian Chronicles series. I read that book first. [...] Let’s get into H. A. Matos's world now. He has done an unbelievable job of creating something so complex that you cannot leave your imagination and thinking behind when reading it. [...] There is a good blend of magic and technology in all the stories in this book. I would like to point out that story toggles between first person to third person. So if you are a stickler about the narration style, keep this in mind. Another thing, I couldn’t say the words describing so many concepts or names. Basically, the nouns! [...]

Just finished reading the science fiction novel "The Mourner, the Hunter and the Watcher" by H.A. Matos. What you'll find in this novel are several independent stories told in the impressive, yet complicated and highly elaborate world created by this talented author. The world created is impressive. The author goes to the extent of creating his own names for days, months, and mythologies... Anything you can imagine. To avoid getting lost in the author's creations, the book is accompanied by many footnotes that help with the understanding of the stories. Additionally, another book written by the author is available that explains the complicated world created (I must mention that I haven't read it, but I think it can be very helpful in its understanding!) If you're into hardcore science fiction, don't miss this book.

Author of DRAGON SWORD COMIC (7 book series). «DRAGON SWORD COMIC is an epic action-adventure fantasy series, perfect for fans of magical worlds, heroic quests, and legendary battles.

Kenoma is a world where the boundaries between science and magic blur in a dance as dangerous as it is mesmerizing. Here, the air is thick with pollution, and the cities are as much a jungle as the creeping wilderness that surrounds them. This is a planet ruled by both dystopian governments and omnipotent megacorporations, where divine and demonic entities play with people as if they were mere toys. What truly elevates this compendium beyond a mere collection of facts and lore about a fictional planet is its profound exploration of Kenomitian cosmogony and cosmology. The creation myths are not just stories; they are the foundational truths that explain the often-melding planes of existence, influencing everything from geopolitical strategies to daily interactions between the sapient species that inhabit this world. Furthermore, the detailed discussions of Kenoma's magic system are a standout feature. Magic here is not merely a tool, but a complex, often perilous phenomenon governed by intricate laws and practices that can bring about as much ruin as they do wonder. This deep dive into the arcane is a thrill for anyone fascinated by the mechanics of magic within worldbuilding. The sections detailing religions, nations, and megacorporations are particularly well-executed, providing a clear view of the societal and cultural structures that shape life across Kenoma. These elements are critical, as they add layers of realism and relevance to the setting, making it believable and compelling. "The Kenomitian Compendium" is not just a book; it's an encyclopedic guide to a world that thrills with its originality and depth. It’s a treasure trove for enthusiasts of worldbuilding, offering endless inspiration and a profound appreciation for the craft of creating complex fictional universes. Whether you're a writer, a gamer, or simply a lover of speculative fiction, this compendium promises to be a pivotal addition to your collection, inviting you not just to read but to inhabit the world of Kenoma fully. It's a testament to the power of imagination and the endless possibilities of the genre.
